The new state lawmakers are doing a fine job.  I’m not talking just about all of the fun they are having in Wisconsin.  There are a lot other possible laws in the works as we speak.  I think my favorite is the one about being able to use a spear for big game hunting.  This is very important.  It has always been my dream to hunt a deer with a spear.  Who hasn’t had a desire to take on a bear with a stick with a sharp, pointy rock on the end of it?  This is a sport for a real man.  Any wimp can carry a gun.  It takes a real man to face the world with a big, pointy stick.  You get one shot at your prey.  If you don’t make that first blow a crippling one, you go hungry.  In the case of a missed shot at a bear, you’d better be able to run like hell, ’cause you just pissed it off.  It’s about time state legislators started working on some real laws that might actually help people.  Can you get a concealed weapons permit for a spear?  I’d feel much safer if I could carry mine to the grocery store.
